Can We Imagine?

Can we imagine what will happen if we, as a community of churches, ministries, and business people in Greater Columbia & the Midlands, commit ourselves to togetherness and unity in order to see Christ’s Kingdom expand in our communities?

What will happen if we, those bound together by the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, decide to be one united, inclusive Body of all evangelical churches, ministries and business people rather than exclusive, individual groups?

Our God is an AWESOME God!

Our God is an AWESOME God! That spirit flowed freely through the breakfast prayers this morning during the kick-off breakfast held at the Capital City Club. Nearly 100 in attendance heard powerful testimony from Evangelist Marilyn Bass (Brookland Baptist Church) as well as a strong exhortation from Pastor Ken Jumper (The Harvest Church, Lexington) as he spoke to his fellow pastors from a pastor’s heart.

Bucky Drake provided a quick recap on finances for this year’s event, sharing the good news that 2010 ended in the black. As Willie Crew noted, “God blessed us...” in the area of finance. Bucky encouraged everyone to get behind this year’s event, as individuals, or as organizations. The event will be held once again in the Colonial Life Arena on Sunday, June 12, 2011, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

By the authority of and in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, God's Son, our Savior! We do hereby declare; that our city is highly favored and blessed of the Lord. That our city is experiencing a spiritual revival of God's Spirit and call to prayer. That every man, woman and child is coming to faith in Jesus Christ.
